Stingy Specs is a proudly Australian owned and operated company, selling cheap prescription glasses online.
Originally Stingyspecs began in mid 2007 with "Stingy Bob," a regular prescription glasses retailer with 8 years optical experience in Melbourne. Stingy Bob recognised that many of his customers just wanted to buy a cheap pair of glasses so they could see. He realised that it was possible to sell eyeglasses cheaper online than at a retail shop - especially for current frame styles, and so Stingy Specs was born!
In 2010, Stingyspecs continues to develop on Bob's idea, bringing with it a new focus, direction and presence in the online glasses market.
Our mission is to fulfill the growing needs of the Australian community by providing quality, experienced and professional dispensing services online, along with quality, affordable glasses.
