Princess Scallywag Hair Accessories evolved because I couldn't find unique and fairly priced hair accessories for my princess. I wasn't willing to pay the prices in children’s boutiques, yet I wasn't willing to settle for the mass produced option. So, I learned to make bows. I researched quality grosgrain ribbons, fell in love with all of the beautiful prints and I was in heaven. I love making the bows, covering buttons, colour matching and creating. I love it until 1am some mornings.
I started taking bows to the mums at my daughter’s dance school and they inspired me further. My home resembles a ribbon factory and my babies are hard pushed to find a clear spot on the table to eat meals these days. Not much housework gets done, but that’s ok (by me, not my husband) because I love what I do and I'm blessed to be doing it.
